Stourbridge Lion Pour
Commissioned by The Lion Medical Centre
The sculpture pays tribute to "The Stourbridge Lion", the first commercial steam locomotive to run in the USA. It was built in the 1820's when the site was an ironworks. The sculpture shows iron workers pouring molten metal into a casting box. Here they are making a Lion's head for the medical centre.
